Zurich’s former head of global corporate in Japan Giles Crowley has relocated to Sydney to become the insurer’s executive general manager of global corporate Australia and New Zealand.
He has been with Zurich since 1996 in roles ranging from underwriting to program management and head of deal management in the UK. In 2011, he relocated to Tokyo as head of global corporate Japan where he successfully led the market facing team, and was instrumental in designing and driving the underwriting, growth and go-to- market strategies.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the corporate and international insurance market, Crowley brings with him in-depth knowledge and experience of Zurich’s value proposition, products and the capabilities that clearly which differentiate Zurich in the market.
CEO General Insurance Australia and New Zealand, Daniel Fogarty said Crowley has helped to shape the success of Zurich UK’s global corporate business over the past 18 years and in his more recent capacity leading the global corporate team in Japan.
