Macquarie Pacific Funding (MPF), one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading providers of insurance premium funding, has made two key appointments to its sales team.

MPF has appointed Wayne Tower to the newly-created role of general manager of sales and Elizabeth Lawry as the new head of sales (southern).

Tower will be responsible for MPF’s sales team nationally, helping the firm further develop market opportunities, grow strategic partnerships, and coordinate best practice activities in support of MPF clients and partners.

Tower brings with him a wealth of financial services experience. He held a variety of relationship management and business development roles across the commercial real estate and healthcare sectors for over 11 years of service with Macquarie Business Banking.

Also new to the MPF’s sales team is Lawry, who will be responsible for VIC, WA, SA, NT, and TAS. Lawry previously worked for Citibank, where she was head of business partnerships, sales and distribution. She has extensive experience building and leading high performing teams within retail banking, telecommunications, and IT.

Rachael Lavars, MPF CEO, said the two new appointments further strengthen the MPF sales team and its delivery of market premium funding solutions to partners and clients.

“We are committed to investing in our product design, platforms, and service delivery to support the evolving needs of our clients and the new appointments are a key example of this,” Lavars said.
