Vero and GIO Workers Compensation have started the call for entries for the 16th instalment of the RM Advancer Awards.

The event is dedicated to celebrating the crucial contributions of risk managers in organisational protection.

David Hoffmann, executive general manager commercial at Vero, remarked on the impact of the awards.

“With the return of the awards last year after a brief hiatus, we’re excited to keep the momentum running and continue to reward the pivotal role risk managers play in helping safeguard their organisations,” he said. “Last year’s awards saw our winners thrive with their own innovative approach to risk management challenges, and we’re hoping to see some equally great nominations this year.”

The awards night, set for November 14, 2024, at The Tea Room in the Queen Victoria Building, Sydney, will see winners and their brokers acknowledged, with each receiving up to AU$2,000.

Nominations remain open until August 31, with the announcement of finalists slated for October 8.
