HDI-Gerling has announced that it has appointed Graham Silton as property underwriting manager.
Silton joins HDI-Gerling from
Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality Pacific where he was head of property following a move from the United Kingdom six years ago.
In the UK, Silton has over 25 years of experience writing some of the biggest risks in the London market.
Stefan Feldmann, managing director of HDI-Gerling Australia, said the appointment was key to the company growth and that Silton will provide the experience needed to develop the team in Australia.

The Silton move follows on from the
appointment of a new head of marine for the region and a
major rebranding of the company.
