Leading loss adjuster appoints industry manager

A global loss adjuster and claims service has appointed an Australia manager for one of its industry businesses and added two other members to the team.

McLarens has appointed a national marine manager for its business in Australia, it has been announced.

John Cupitt has been appointed to the role and will be responsible for developing all aspects of the new marine division for McLarens Australia. Cupitt joins from Cerno, with a wealth of marine experience that the global claims service will look to parlay into a strong position in the Australian market.

He will report to Martyn Witch, general manager of McLarens, who said the hire signals the intent of the company’s Australia strategy.

“John’s appointment is aligned with our strategy of providing clients with high quality services delivered by industry leading specialists."

The company also announced that it has added a surveyor and operational support team member to the fledging marine practice with Neale Cawse and Claire Croft coming on board.

“We are also pleased to welcome Neale Cawse to the Marine team who is a highly experienced surveyor as well as Claire Croft in operational support. Neale and Claire commenced 2 February 2015.”
